Raymond, on the other end of the phone, was taken aback and said, “Which Li family?”
His boss personally directed him to look into the Li family, but he recalls that there is no such large family with the surname Li in this country.
“The Li family of Longsheng Group.” Fu Hanzheng stated it once more.
Raymond was a little taken aback. Given the importance of the Fu Group in China, how could he suddenly become interested in the little Longsheng Group?
“I’ll do it right away and report back to you tomorrow.”
Fu Hanzheng hung up the phone, looked at the girl who was already asleep on the hospital bed, exhaled angrily, and remembered the situation in the garage just now.
What the hell happened to him today? He went insane because of a little girl’s crazy kiss?
It used to irritate him to look at her, but when he realized the picture was a forgery and silently assisted them in completing their cooperation with Wilson, he began to wonder what type of person she was.
When he saw her again in the apartment yesterday, he was… taken aback.
When Gu Weiwei developed a fever at three a.m., Fu Hanzheng called He Chi again.
He Chi eventually took the thermometer and delivered it to him.
“First, take her temperature.”
“You are a doctor; just do what a doctor should do,” Fu Hanzheng says.
“All right, all right, I’ll do it.”
He Chi muttered this as he walked to the bedside and lifted the quilt, intending to unbutton Gu Weiwei’s pajamas but being stopped before he touched the button.
“What are you up to?” Fu Hanzheng’s eyes were frosty.

“Take the temperature. How can I put the thermometer on if I don’t open the clothes?” He Chi asked innocently.
“Please contact the nurse.”
“The male nurse is on duty today.”
“Don’t worry, doctors are benevolent; we don’t discriminate between men and women,” He Chi stated as he reached out to unbutton and put thermometer again.
Fu Hanzheng approached and grabbed the thermometer.
“Get out of here.”
He Chi went away, sat on the sofa, and hummed angrily as he waited.
“Fu Shiqin, a member of your family, previously broke his leg and was hospitalized. You, the elder brother, have never paid him a visit before. You are now in charge of a little girl who is suffering from minor ailments and pains. Have you thought about your plastic brother’s feelings?”
When Fu Hanzheng realized the time was over, he took the thermometer and handed it to He Chi, then wrapped a quilt around Gu Weiwei.
He Chi looked at the thermometer and stated, “She does have a fever. I’m going to grab some antipyretics and a fever patch. You can give her additional water to help her get rid of the fever as quickly as possible.”
After a while, the nurse on duty arrived with antipyretics and a fever patch, explaining that He Chi was in the emergency room and couldn’t come.
Fu Hanzheng unfastened his cufflinks, rolled up his shirt sleeves, poured herself a glass of water, sat on the edge of the bed, and pushed the sleeping girl against him.
Then, before putting her down, give her the antipyretic and a glass of water.
He remembers the doctor’s suggestion and lifts her up and feeds her water every half hour for the next few hours.
Gu Weiwei opened her eyes tiredly at dawn and saw a glass of water is presented to her lips.
She took a sip from the cup because she was thirsty, looked up at the person who had given her water, and choked in astonishment.
Fu Hanzheng set the cup down and patted her on the back.
Gu Weiwei sat up straight after almost leaning into his arms.
She’s not sure if she was embarrassed after being choked by water, but her face was flushed crimson.
Fu Hanzheng noticed she had awoken and handed her the half glass of water she hadn’t finished.
“Drink up.”
Gu Weiwei clutched the water glass haphazardly, recalling that she had drunk water multiple times while dazed.
Could he have fed it all?
Just like he was feeding her while holding her in his arms?
Not only did he take her out of the bathtub to change her clothes last night at the apartment, but last night in the hospital garage, she lost her mind and forced a kiss on Fu Hanzheng, nearly throwing him over in the car…
When she thinks about it, the whole person isn’t doing so well.
